‘Giving back to society’ missions

One of the main tenants of Islam is to share our wealth with others and ‘Give back to society’ no matter where we are. Edmonton is currently home to a large Muslim community and it is with pleasure that this community chooses to engage in three missions to give back:

To the people by donating up to $100,000 to charity including the U of A Hospital Emergency Unit and Stollery Children Hospital; and by committing to raise 5,000 meals.

To the environment by renting the U of A parking lot and implementing a Park-n-Ride solution that will also generate revenues for ETS from the 3 days pass sales.

To our future by motivating attendees to commit to donate blood. Our target is to reach a 1000 Blood Screening with the Canadian Blood Services.
